As a Research and Advocacy Officer, Thomas focuses on climate risk and banking regulation.
Thomas has more than five years of experience in risk management within the banking industry, having worked in various risk departments at investment banks in New York and Paris.
Throughout his career, Thomas has worked on a wide range of risk management regulations, including in counterparty risk and market risk areas, such as Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (Internal Model Approach and Standardised Approach). He has also led data quality reviews for data used in risk models, with a focus on Value at Risk and stress tests. Before transitioning to risk management, Thomas worked as a Structured Product Pricing Officer in Luxembourg.
At Finance Watch, Thomas works on climate risk and banking regulation, focusing on climate scenario analysis.
Thomas holds a master’s degree in Financial Mathematics from Paris-Saclay University and an Engineering degree from ENSIIE, where he specialised in Mathematics and Computer Science.
