Stefano Fassina is an economist and politician with a broad range of experience. He currently acts as Senior Economist at the Presidency of the Council of the Ministers, Office of Internal Audit, Italy. His remit includes analysis and reporting on criteria and methods for assessing public administration performances in EU Member States.
In previous positions he was an economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), a member of the Italian Parliament and Deputy Minister of Economy and Finance in Italy under Prime Minister Enrico Letta.
